Pellenberg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giovanny Kortens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Giovanny Kortens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Jarno de Pelsmaker made a huge save. 25 minutes into the match, Sint Haecht's goal looked a bit too open when Loui Van Eynde came free, but Roel Schouters reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bill Brabant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jarno de Pelsmaker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Bill Brabant had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jarno de Pelsmaker. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Loui Capelle to make the kick off. Laureano Hubieta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jarno de Pelsmaker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pellenberg's Lieven Van Eijcken got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 62nd minute, Stanny Helssen made a precise shot to the right of Roel Schouters. Sint Haecht's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Sint Haecht made a substitution. Sylvain Van der Loock replaced Bill Brabant. Jarno de Pelsmaker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Neesens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Laureano Hubieta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
