Jarno de Pelsmaker made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Philippe-Arnaud Biesen sent off a good shot on target. In the 39thth minute of the game Lionel Matthieu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pellenberg's Jarno de Pelsmaker was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 43 minutes into the match, KVSK Mariakerke's goal looked a bit too open when Loui Van Eynde came free, but Louis-Philippe Schellekens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Louis-Philippe Schellekens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loui Capelle, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Louis-Philippe Schellekens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loui Van Eynde in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Loui Capelle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Loui Capelle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. KVSK Mariakerke's Henri Van de Loock was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jarno de Pelsmaker in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Charles De Reijck charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charles De Reijck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of KVSK Mariakerke:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pellenberg:s goal. 67 minutes into the match, Pellenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Lionel Matthieu came free, but Jarno de Pelsmaker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loui Capelle in the 69th minute of play forced KVSK Mariakerke's goalkeeper Louis-Philippe Schellekens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Loui Van Eynde struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Louis-Philippe Schellekens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pellenberg. Mattias Van de Weijer hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Jarno de Pelsmaker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philippe-Arnaud Biesen, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Jarno de Pelsmaker came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by KVSK Mariakerke's Lionel Matthieu. But to his dismay, Lionel Matthieu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 80th minute, Loui Van Eynde left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pellenberg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Jarno de Pelsmaker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philippe-Arnaud Biesen in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loui Capelle in the 87th minute of play forced KVSK Mariakerke's goalkeeper Louis-Philippe Schellekens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stanny Helssen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Louis-Philippe Schellekens made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Pellenberg's Stanny Helssen got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 97th minute, Stanny Helssen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pellenberg had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
