Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Stephan Jespers kicked off to start the match. Georges Van Eyke struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Joachim De Malier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Doorselaar. After a defensive mix-up in Kermt's zone, Georges Van Eyke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joachim De Malier came out of the goal and Georges Van Eyke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martin Izotz hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Robrecht De Vriendt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sam-Lucas Loots having to interfere. In the 19th match minute, Doorselaar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudi Slabbaert to maneuver through the defense. After 20 played minutes Doorselaar got a freekick which was hit by Tommas Delen. 21 minutes into the game, Stephan Jespers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sam-Lucas Loots was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Doorselaar's Georges Van Eyke got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dominic Meersman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sam-Lucas Loots took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stephan Jespers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joachim De Malier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Georges Van Eyke in the 32nd minute. Sam-Lucas Loots showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stephan Jespers, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Joachim De Malier made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Georges Van Eyke sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute, Robrecht De Vriendt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Georges Van Eyke was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Doorselaar's goal looked a bit too open when Stephan Jespers came free, but Sam-Lucas Loots reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th match minute, Kermt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glen Loremans to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kermt's goalkeeper Joachim De Malier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Doorselaar's Sam-Lucas Loots played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stephan Jespers in the 66th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Kermt's goal looked a bit too open when Georges Van Eyke came free, but Joachim De Malier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th match minute, Doorselaar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Izotz to maneuver through the defense. Tommi Demarez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Sam-Lucas Loots made a huge save. Georges Van Eyke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Joachim De Malier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Tommi Demarez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kermt's supporters rose to their feet, but Tommi Demarez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sam-Lucas Loots breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Doorselaar's Dominic Meersman in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kermt's goalie prevented a goal. Doorselaar were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
