Georges Van Eyke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Qwinten De Groot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dominic Meersman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Qwinten De Groot having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Doorselaar's Dominic Meersman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Qwinten De Groot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dominic Meersman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Qwinten De Groot came out and tried to block the shot, but Dominic Meersman slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 19th minute. Lionel Lions's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Dominic Meersman scored to the left of an out of position Qwinten De Groot, making the score, 2-0. The supporters of Lionel Lions booed when Doorselaar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommas Delen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th match minute, Lionel Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurus de Pelsmaecker to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Doorselaar booed when Lionel Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bert Soens didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Rudi Slabbaert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Doorselaar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rudi Slabbaert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Georges Van Eyke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Qwinten De Groot having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Georges Van Eyke to make the kick off. Sam-Lucas Loots showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf Goffeyn in the 52nd minute of the match. Bert Soens kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Qwinten De Groot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Georges Van Eyke's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Lionel Lions's Qwinten De Groot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georges Van Eyke in the 63rd minute of play. In the 71st minute, Georges Van Eyke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Georges Van Eyke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute Martin Izotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qwinten De Groot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Doorselaar getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Dominic Meersman hit a great ball. Doorselaar walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
