When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cederique Van Eynde made a kick off. KSC Grimbergen's Pierre Docx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quillian Coekelbergh in the 53rd minute of play. 61 minutes in the game, Freek Van den Brul fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Fredrik Rosbach having to interfere. After 62 played minutes Club Ramillies got a freekick which was hit by Casper Uytterhoeven. After 65 minutes of play, Club Ramillies's Quillian Coekelbergh made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pierre Docx was left in no man's land by his defense there! George Neirynck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Fredrik Rosbach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Club Ramillies's Cederique Van Eynde sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pierre Docx narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 80th minute, one of KSC Grimbergen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KSC Grimbergen. The KSC Grimbergen supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing KSC Grimbergen would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
