Miguel van Haghten made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Robben Gielens sent off a good shot on target. Marcus Lenoir kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Mellier sport's Sebastian Panhuyse seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sebastian Panhuyse the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mellier sport protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sebastian Panhuyse had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 11 minutes into the game, one of Mellier sport:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Miguel van Haghten, was totally fooled by Fc joe's Franck Hauwaerts, who 13 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Robben Gielens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Miguel van Haghten made a huge save. Georges-Philippe Vervoort hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 21 minutes of play, Fc joe's Robben Gielens made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miguel van Haghten was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 23 minutes of play, Fc joe's Franck Hauwaerts made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mellier sport's Miguel van Haghten tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 31 minutes into the game, Robben Gielens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Miguel van Haghten was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Miguel van Haghten made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Louis-Philippe Sielens sent off a good shot on target. Dennis Maes kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. A hard shot by Erwin Van Glabeeke from long distance, 40 minutes into the match, got Miguel van Haghten's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With a little luck, Mellier sport's Miguel van Haghten got control of the ball when Franck Hauwaerts tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fc joe's Franck Hauwaerts got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when Martin Bauwens made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Fc joe's Robben Gielens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel van Haghten narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Mellier sport's goal looked a bit too open when Robben Gielens came free, but Miguel van Haghten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 minutes, Wannes Van De Wiele mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc joe and the Mellier sport players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Fc joe getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Wannes Van De Wiele hit a great ball. After 70 played minutes Mellier sport got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Lenoir. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franck Hauwaerts in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel van Haghten saved Mellier sport from getting behind. Miguel van Haghten came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Fc joe's Dries Gheysen. But to his dismay, Dries Gheysen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Robben Gielens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Miguel van Haghten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tytus Wiater in the 81st minute of play forced Mellier sport's goalkeeper Miguel van Haghten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tytus Wiater took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel van Haghten. Miguel van Haghten dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Mellier sport's Miguel van Haghten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wannes Van De Wiele in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Fc joe's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Martin Bauwens fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 92 minutes into the match, Fc joe's Tytus Wiater sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel van Haghten narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wannes Van De Wiele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute Georges-Philippe Vervoort shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel van Haghten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
