Spectators: 5002 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jozef Horemans kicked off to start the match. After 8 minutes, Arnout Van Malcot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Herentals and the Mellier sport players grew even worse after the yellow card. Martin Bauwens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Christiaan Caers made a huge save. In the 13th match minute, Herentals was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnout Van Malcot to maneuver through the defense. Laurens Roelandts scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miguel van Haghten, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Jozef Horemans managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herentals's supporters rose to their feet, but Jozef Horemans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel van Haghten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wannes Vollens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Herentals booed when Mellier sport was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wannes Vollens didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Laurens Roelandts cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Miguel van Haghten was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Mellier sport's Gill Buelens in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Herentals's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mellier sport's zone, Jozef Horemans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel van Haghten came out of the goal and Jozef Horemans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute, Joost Focquier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mellier sport's Miguel van Haghten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurens Roelandts in the 40th minute of play. After 41 minutes, Marcus Lenoir mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mellier sport and the Herentals players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st minute, Marcus Lenoir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laurens Roelandts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Herentals's Jozef Horemans got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Mellier sport's zone, Laurens Roelandts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel van Haghten came out of the goal and Laurens Roelandts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the match, Mellier sport's goalkeeper Miguel van Haghten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laurens Roelandts. After a rather tough play, Herentals's Yannik Poelmans got a free kick in the 68th minute. Gill Buelens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th match minute, Herentals was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erwin Laurent to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Mellier sport booed when Herentals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diederik Ballette didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute of the match Wannes Vollens shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christiaan Caers showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 76th minute, Jozef Horemans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jozef Horemans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel van Haghten having to interfere. Christiaan Caers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Bauwens in the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jozef Horemans in the 84th minute of play forced Mellier sport's goalkeeper Miguel van Haghten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jozef Horemans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel van Haghten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Herentals's Jozef Horemans ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Miguel van Haghten. Miguel van Haghten yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Jozef Horemans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Miguel van Haghten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
