Spectators: 7491 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Yoachim Klopterop took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Yoachim Klopterop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 5 minutes, Sebastien Gebuers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KFC Varinkshoek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastien Gebuers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Jonge-Warriors's zone, Yoachim Klopterop stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wannes Demuynck came out of the goal and Yoachim Klopterop tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 12 played minutes Jonge-Warriors got a freekick which was hit by Julien Struelens. In the 13th minute, Paul Huijsmans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yoachim Klopterop in the 15th minute of play forced Jonge-Warriors's goalkeeper Wannes Demuynck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisito Indalecio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Rix in the 17th minute of play. Yoachim Klopterop fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wannes Demuynck having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Jonge-Warriors's Julien Struelens got a free kick in the 20th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Binjamin Van Huytvenne kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luisito Indalecio. That made the score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. Luisito Indalecio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Binjamin Van Huytvenne in the 31st minute. If Yoachim Klopterop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sten Jansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Wannes Demuynck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Julien Struelens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wannes Demuynck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yoachim Klopterop in the 37th minute of the match. In the 44th match minute, Jonge-Warriors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diedrik Huijghens to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Yoachim Klopterop made a precise shot to the right of Wannes Demuynck. Jonge-Warriors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Emanuel Rix made the kick off in the second half. Yoachim Klopterop recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Emanuel Rix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 played minutes Jonge-Warriors got a freekick which was hit by Jeffery Gysemans. In the 59th minute Binjamin Van Huytvenne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Indalecio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 61 minutes, Yoachim Klopterop managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wannes Demuynck came out and tried to block the shot, but Yoachim Klopterop slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 70th minute. In the 74th match minute, Jonge-Warriors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Huijsmans to maneuver through the defense. In the last second Wannes Demuynck throw himself and got hold of the ball when Yoachim Klopterop in the 77thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 77th match minute, Jonge-Warriors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julien Struelens to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Yoachim Klopterop kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wannes Demuynck. That made the score 1-5 in the 78 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Rix during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Emanuel Rix hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. KFC Varinkshoek's Harrie Ceusters got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonge-Warriors's Wannes Demuynck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yoachim Klopterop in the 87th minute of play. Wannes Demuynck was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Yoachim Klopterop capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Yoachim Klopterop really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. Yoachim Klopterop received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Wannes Demuynck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Yoachim Klopterop came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the KFC Varinkshoek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yoachim Klopterop couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded KFC Varinkshoek left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Jonge-Warriors.
