Spectators: 6703 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Peter-Jan Thielens kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute Frederick Gysens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marnix Van Linthoud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, SK Zuiddamme's goal looked a bit too open when Peter-Jan Thielens came free, but Billy Reijdams reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 6 played minutes SK Zuiddamme got a freekick which was hit by Tobias De Koning. Marnix Van Linthoud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sammy Gelens, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Billy Reijdams made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cedrik Huybreghts in the 13th minute. Marnix Van Linthoud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy Gelens in the 15th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Passendale's zone, Frederick Gysens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marnix Van Linthoud came out of the goal and Frederick Gysens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the match, SK Zuiddamme's goal looked a bit too open when Peter-Jan Thielens came free, but Billy Reijdams reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marnix Van Linthoud came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by SK Zuiddamme's Sammy Gelens. But to his dismay, Sammy Gelens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 32 minutes of play, SK Zuiddamme's Frederick Gysens made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marnix Van Linthoud was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Billy Reijdams managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Passendale's Cedrik Huybreghts fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Billy Reijdams showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter-Jan Thielens in the 43rd minute of the match. Cedrik Huybreghts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billy Reijdams having to interfere. The Passendale players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SK Zuiddamme were winning 0-2.

Peter-Jan Thielens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the match, Peter-Jan Thielens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Billy Reijdams. SK Zuiddamme's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peter-Jan Thielens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Passendale's zone, Sammy Gelens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marnix Van Linthoud came out of the goal and Sammy Gelens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sammy Gelens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Karel-Jan Van Der Heijden fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Passendale's protests and gave Karel-Jan Van Der Heijden a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Passendale getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Karel-Jan Van Der Heijden hit a great ball. In the 67th minute Frederick Gysens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marnix Van Linthoud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Billy Reijdams showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cedrik Huybreghts, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Marnix Van Linthoud made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Frederick Gysens sent off a good shot on target. In the 93rd minute, Karel-Jan Van Der Heijden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, SK Zuiddamme's Benedict Van Hoeyveld broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SK Zuiddamme had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
