After 5 played minutes Golden Bears Beernem got a freekick which was hit by Gerrit De Koq. If Jammy Worteler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jean-Louis Holemans came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Golden Bears Beernem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean-Louis Holemans couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Golden Bears Beernem getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Jean-Louis Holemans hit a great ball. Ward Koenens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bryan Bernaerts went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Bryan Bernaerts managed to get in a good position for a shot. KV Dribbel's supporters rose to their feet, but Bryan Bernaerts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ward Koenens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute Jean-Louis Holemans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wannes Vleschers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jammy Worteler came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Golden Bears Beernem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jammy Worteler couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jean-Louis Holemans was the one to do the kick off. Golden Bears Beernem's Jean-Louis Holemans got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ward Koenens made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Bryan Bernaerts sent off a good shot on target. Jean-Louis Holemans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wannes Vleschers having to interfere. Jammy Worteler scored 2-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wannes Vleschers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jean-Louis Holemans in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wannes Vleschers saved KV Dribbel from getting behind. After a rather tough play, KV Dribbel's Wes Hagemans got a free kick in the 75th minute. Jammy Worteler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Wannes Vleschers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Golden Bears Beernem getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Dean Poortmans hit a great ball. Jammy Worteler struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Wannes Vleschers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golden Bears Beernem. Jammy Worteler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Geoffry Severens hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Christoffel Van Parijs sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and KV Dribbel's Wannes Vleschers didn't even have to move. Golden Bears Beernem's Jammy Worteler got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Golden Bears Beernem walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
