Mats Van der Weijden scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacob Sterkx, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yens Deman in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacob Sterkx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Coba de Gymnasia booed when Armoede was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emile Maerschalck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armoede's Arnauld Maerschalcx got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Jose Eekhout managed to get in a good position for a shot. Armoede's supporters rose to their feet, but Jose Eekhout was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stanny Van der Voert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yens Deman in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacob Sterkx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28th minute, Emile Maerschalck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gert Kempenaerts hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Armoede defense, Mats Van der Weijden kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacob Sterkx. The Armoede fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacob Sterkx should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yens Deman in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacob Sterkx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jacob Sterkx stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yens Deman's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Jacob Sterkx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mats Van der Weijden in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnauld Maerschalcx was the one to do the kick off. If Mats Van der Weijden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Armoede's zone, Jerom Van Looy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacob Sterkx came out of the goal and Jerom Van Looy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the match, Armoede's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Van der Weijden came free, but Jacob Sterkx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Coba de Gymnasia's Yens Deman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacob Sterkx made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The supporters of Coba de Gymnasia booed when Armoede was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnauld Maerschalcx didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Armoede's Jacob Sterkx got control of the ball when Yens Deman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kjetil Vikan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jacob Sterkx. Armoede's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 77th minute, Mats Van der Weijden reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jacob Sterkx. The goal made the score 0-4. Arnauld Maerschalcx recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Mats Van der Weijden fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coba de Gymnasia's protests and gave Mats Van der Weijden a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th match minute, Coba de Gymnasia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mats Van der Weijden to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnauld Maerschalcx in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stanny Van der Voert saved Coba de Gymnasia from getting behind. In the 94th minute of the match Kjetil Vikan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacob Sterkx skillfully saved the ball. If Mats Van der Weijden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Coba de Gymnasia left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Armoede.
