Rudy Van Poucke made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. When Jason Sevenants fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ernonheid's protests and gave Jason Sevenants a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ernonheid getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Jason Sevenants hit a great ball. In the 19th minute Norbert Provoost shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudy Van Poucke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronny Ryers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Dirckx hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Norbert Provoost struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Rudy Van Poucke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wings Of Destiny. Rudy Van Poucke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Van Buyten in the 35th minute of the match. After 38 minutes of play, Wings Of Destiny's Norbert Provoost made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The Wings Of Destiny fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Wings Of Destiny's Norbert Provoost looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

Joaquim Oliveira might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rudy Van Poucke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joaquim Oliveira ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Wings Of Destiny booed when Ernonheid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lenny Le Lion didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Wings Of Destiny's Willy Adriens got a free kick in the 61st minute. Rudy Van Poucke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Provoost, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After 76 played minutes Ernonheid got a freekick which was hit by Levi Roelandts. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Norbert Provoost in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rudy Van Poucke saved Ernonheid from getting behind. Wings Of Destiny were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Ernonheid's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Andy Andriesens took the corner. Wings Of Destiny's Andy Andriesens was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rudy Van Poucke in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Wings Of Destiny booed when Ernonheid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Kempenaers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernonheid's Rudy Van Poucke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Ernonheid from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Wings Of Destiny's Willy Adriens got a free kick in the 84th minute. Norbert Provoost in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rudy Van Poucke, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Norbert Provoosts short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Rudy Van Poucke to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Norbert Provoost had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rudy Van Poucke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Norbert Provoost in the 97th minute.
