Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Malonne's Joey Van Boeckost started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Gino van Haecht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Musson's Cedric Ottevaere couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 4th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Malonne. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Van Doren in the 8th minute of play forced Malonne's goalkeeper Balthazar Van den Bergh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rik Dhollander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Balthazar Van den Bergh having to interfere. Herve Meynen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joey Van Boeckost, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Malonne's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rik Dhollander fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Musson's Marc Van Doren slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Balthazar Van den Bergh. That made the score 1-0 after 30 minutes of play. With a little luck, Malonne's Balthazar Van den Bergh got control of the ball when Rik Dhollander tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Rik Dhollander took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Balthazar Van den Bergh to make any attempt to save it. Balthazar Van den Bergh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc Van Doren in the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marc Van Doren made a kick off. Marc Van Doren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Balthazar Van den Bergh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 59 minutes, Marc Van Doren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Musson's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marc Van Doren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute, Gino van Haecht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Marc Van Doren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Musson's supporters rose to their feet, but Marc Van Doren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Balthazar Van den Bergh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute, Rik Dhollander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Balthazar Van den Bergh was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 76th match minute, Musson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rik Dhollander to maneuver through the defense. After 77 played minutes Musson got a freekick which was hit by Hans Dumont. Marc Van Doren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Balthazar Van den Bergh having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Marc Van Doren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Balthazar Van den Bergh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rik Dhollander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Balthazar Van den Bergh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Musson were the better team. Musson's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
