In the 26th minute Maxime Frederickx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robbrecht Dekker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Bruno Van Herendael notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of fenerbahce's Robbrecht Dekker. Robbrecht Dekker was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Strijtem City's Bruno Van Herendael slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Robbrecht Dekker. That made the score 0-3 after 52 minutes of play. Robbrecht Dekker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Van Herendael in the 79th minute of play. fenerbahce's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Arend Van den Driesch scored to the left of an out of position Robbrecht Dekker, making the score, 0-6. fenerbahce's Sylvain Raemakers was substituted for Pino Rousseau. The referee showed Pierre-Olivier Stevens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to fenerbahce getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Pierre-Olivier Stevens hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Strijtem City eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
