When Strijtem City's Bruno Van Herendael in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SK Boseind's goalie prevented a goal. Lou Lambrecht showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathijs Helsens, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After a rather tough play, Strijtem City's Thierry Goris got a free kick in the 5th minute. Lou Lambrecht made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henri-Patrick Wils in the 6th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Christoffel Davus took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Patrick Wolfs to make any attempt to save it. Patrick Wolfs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoffel Davus in the 15th minute of the match. Bruno Van Herendael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Wolfs having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bill Van Dongel in the 22nd minute of play forced SK Boseind's goalkeeper Patrick Wolfs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrick Wolfs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Van Herendael, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Strijtem City's Christoffel Davus got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Bruno Van Herendael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patrick Wolfs acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 30th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Michel Van Campenhout. Lou Lambrecht made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henri-Patrick Wils in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Tuur Gyselinckx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute of the match Martin Gillis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lou Lambrecht showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. SK Boseind's Patrick Wolfs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save SK Boseind from getting a goal against them. After having played for 38 minutes, Bruno Van Herendael managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strijtem City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Van Herendael was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 39 played minutes SK Boseind got a freekick which was hit by Johnny Rijniers. Dyllan Colebinders hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Van Herendael got free with Patrick Wolfs in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SK Boseind's Patrick Wolfs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Van Herendael in the 48th minute of play.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruno Van Herendael made a kick off. In the 58th minute, Christoffel Davus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrick Wolfs was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 63rd minute, Bruno Van Herendael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patrick Wolfs didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Van Herendael went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Bruno Van Herendael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Wolfs having to interfere. Dyllan Colebinders scored 4-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lou Lambrecht, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Henri-Patrick Wils could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Lou Lambrecht made a huge save. Bruno Van Herendael might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patrick Wolfs. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bruno Van Herendael ran back to his position shaking his head. 87 minutes into the game, Remy Van Hemel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SK Boseind's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Strijtem City the free kick. After a rather tough play, SK Boseind's Remy Van Hemel got a free kick in the 88th minute. When Bruno Van Herendael, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 89 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Patrick Wolfs was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 92nd minute of the match Lex Roeckeloes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Patrick Wolfs showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Arend Van den Driesch took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patrick Wolfs. Patrick Wolfs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Strijtem City fully deserved thier win.
