After 12 played minutes SK Wezepoel got a freekick which was hit by Johnny Schellekens. Ruud Viskens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renaud Vergouwen in the 18th minute of the match. Johnny Schellekens charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johnny Schellekens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 30 played minutes Les Rouches got a freekick which was hit by Ben Van der Goten. The supporters of Les Rouches booed when SK Wezepoel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franck Moerman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruud Viskens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renaud Vergouwen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rdth minute of the game Renaud Vergouwen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SK Wezepoel's Ruud Viskens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Renaud Vergouwen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ruud Viskens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Renaud Vergouwen in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruud Viskens saved SK Wezepoel from getting behind. In the 42nd minute Renaud Vergouwen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruud Viskens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruud Viskens came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Les Rouches's Renaud Vergouwen. But to his dismay, Renaud Vergouwen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Renaud Vergouwen in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruud Viskens saved SK Wezepoel from getting behind.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Steffe Celis to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Les Rouches's Renaud Vergouwen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruud Viskens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Matías Leal might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ruud Viskens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matías Leal ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matías Leal in the 66th minute of play forced SK Wezepoel's goalkeeper Ruud Viskens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Matías Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Les Rouches's supporters rose to their feet, but Matías Leal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruud Viskens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the SK Wezepoel defense, Matías Leal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruud Viskens. The SK Wezepoel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruud Viskens should have stopped the shot. If Kieth Vervaeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute Matías Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruud Viskens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matías Leal in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruud Viskens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ruud Viskens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías Leal in the 85th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Sebastian Berrewouts got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. SK Wezepoel's Sebastian Berrewouts got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Les Rouches fully deserved thier win.
