Spectators: 7100 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Robrecht Van den Broeck started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Robrecht Van den Broeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Jules Bautmans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SV Athos's Lander Dobbeleir got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 11th minute, one of SV Athos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SV Athos. Timy Goemyne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 20 played minutes SK Lotenhulle got a freekick which was hit by Bastian Rondou. Sam-Lucas Coryn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lorenzo Pacolet's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Lorenzo Pacolet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute of the match George Hennes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jules Bautmans showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kieth Diependaele got free with Sam-Lucas Coryn in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Lorenzo Pacolet kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sam-Lucas Coryn. That made the score 1-1 in the 31 minute of play. Nestor Ackermans kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. SK Lotenhulle's Sam-Lucas Coryn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save SK Lotenhulle from getting a goal against them. In the 45th minute, Lorenzo Pacolet fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sam-Lucas Coryn, passed just outside the right post. Timy Goemyne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lorenzo Pacolet made a kick off. A collision led to SV Athos getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Louis Geerts hit a great ball. Robrecht Van den Broeck spun around in front of the goal 54 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of SV Athos's goal. In the 76th minute, Timy Goemyne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 78 minutes, Ray Enfant mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SV Athos and the SK Lotenhulle players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ray Enfant kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, SK Lotenhulle's Jon Van Achten broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in SV Athos's zone, Timy Goemyne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jules Bautmans came out of the goal and Timy Goemyne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Timy Goemyne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jules Bautmans having to interfere. A collision led to SK Lotenhulle getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Bastian Rondou hit a great ball. When Kieth Diependaele came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the SV Athos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kieth Diependaele couldn't finish the play. SK Lotenhulle were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
