When Gilbert Anthonis came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the KAA Hody fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilbert Anthonis couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute Frederic Schuts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Hylen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gilbert Anthonis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frederic Schuts struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 80th minute by Gilbert Anthonis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frederic Schuts in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Hylen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Hylen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederic Schuts, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Carlos Hylen made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Gilbert Anthonis sent off a good shot on target. When Frederic Schuts came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the KAA Hody fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frederic Schuts couldn't finish the play. Frederic Schuts was extremely unlucky when he, in the 91st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Gilbert Anthonis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
