Ben Leclerq took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederic Schuts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15thth minute of the game Laurence Van Poucke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SK Snikberg's Ben Leclerq was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Laurence Van Poucke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ben Leclerq came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by KAA Hody's Frederic Schuts. But to his dismay, Frederic Schuts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 25th minute, Ryan Van Cleijnenbreughel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ben Leclerq showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurence Van Poucke in the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederic Schuts in the 29th minute of play forced SK Snikberg's goalkeeper Ben Leclerq to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laurence Van Poucke struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Ben Leclerq didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KAA Hody. In the 35th minute, Jef Van Den Linden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jeff Van Beneden came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the KAA Hody fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeff Van Beneden couldn't finish the play. Jeremie Pluijssens hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Frederic Schuts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 48th minute Jeff Van Beneden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ben Leclerq saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jef Van Den Linden to make the kick off. Frederic Schuts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Ben Leclerq tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Jasper Van der Veken had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ben Leclerq. SK Snikberg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jasper Van der Veken was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Frederic Schuts in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ben Leclerq, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to SK Snikberg getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Paul Van Hallebeeck hit a great ball. Walter de Wolf hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Frederic Schuts could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Ben Leclerq made a huge save. With a little luck, SK Snikberg's Ben Leclerq got control of the ball when Jeff Van Beneden tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of KAA Hody booed when SK Snikberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristof Aerts didn't get a good kick on the ball. KAA Hody's Frederic Schuts got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of SK Snikberg booed when KAA Hody was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurence Van Poucke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frederic Schuts's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Ben Leclerq skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jeff Van Beneden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ben Leclerq was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frederic Schuts showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 91 minute of play. In the 94th minute, Frederic Schuts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
