Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) Wemmel's Frederick Kindt started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Lorenz Petermans came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Battice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lorenz Petermans couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Cederique Van den Hond took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Mattheo Van Craesbeeck to make any attempt to save it. When Lorenz Petermans came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Battice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lorenz Petermans couldn't finish the play. Marnix Van Hoeijveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Mattheo Van Craesbeeck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Samuel De Maerschalck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carel Coche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel De Maerschalck, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Carel Coche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederick Kindt in the 42nd minute of play. Cederique Van den Hond blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mattheo Van Craesbeeck having to make a save. In the 44th match minute, Wemmel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sam Van Den Linden to maneuver through the defense. Lorenz Petermans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattheo Van Craesbeeck having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
After 53 minutes, Jan-Joost Van den Paenhuysen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Battice and the Wemmel players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Battice getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Cederique Van den Hond hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Samuel De Maerschalck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wemmel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Frederick Kindt came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Wemmel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frederick Kindt couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Wemmel. Robbie Van Cauwenberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Carel Coche. 1-2. Mattheo Van Craesbeeck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenz Petermans in the 75th minute of play. Carel Coche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederick Kindt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Battice getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Jan-Joost Van den Paenhuysen hit a great ball. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Battice's goalkeeper Carel Coche, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 97 minutes into the match, Battice's goalkeeper Carel Coche had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel De Maerschalck. The Wemmel players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
