Emmanuel Roosendael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurens Verheije, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Stefan Debruyn sped through FC Oppernieuw's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Waut Van Langhendoncx. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stefan Debruyn in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waut Van Langhendoncx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stefan Debruyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waut Van Langhendoncx having to interfere. Laurence Decorte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waut Van Langhendoncx read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Emmanuel Roosendael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurens Verheije, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Laurens Verheije received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Emmanuel Roosendael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Bart De Winter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC Oppernieuw's Jacky Van Laeck got a free kick in the 34th minute. Waut Van Langhendoncx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Debruyn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Oppernieuw's Waut Van Langhendoncx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Debruyn in the 40th minute of play. Waut Van Langhendoncx came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by The Eleven Titans's Thorir Hanssen. But to his dismay, Thorir Hanssen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 47 minutes into the match, FC Oppernieuw's goal looked a bit too open when Laurence Decorte came free, but Waut Van Langhendoncx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laurens Verheije made a kick off. Jilian Ingelborghs took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 51st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Waut Van Langhendoncx. FC Oppernieuw's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to The Eleven Titans getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Charles Govaerts hit a great ball. In the 57th minute of the match Yanniek Stevens sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emmanuel Roosendael skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tjorven Balckmans during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for The Eleven Titans! 66 minutes into the game, Laurence Decorte recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Waut Van Langhendoncx. Laurence Decorte showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for The Eleven Titans! Waut Van Langhendoncx was a little too slow when Stefan Debruyn got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 1-4. Emmanuel Roosendael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ewout Vrijdags, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, The Eleven Titans's Thorir Hanssen got a free kick in the 80th minute. The audience was convinced that Ewout Vrijdags's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emmanuel Roosendael was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ewout Vrijdags in the 84th minute of play forced The Eleven Titans's goalkeeper Emmanuel Roosendael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Oppernieuw booed when The Eleven Titans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thorir Hanssen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emmanuel Roosendael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ewout Vrijdags in the 87th minute of the match. FC Oppernieuw's Waut Van Langhendoncx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save FC Oppernieuw from getting a goal against them. Stefan Debruyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Waut Van Langhendoncx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 92 in the game by Steve Clarke from a close distance when the talented Waut Van Langhendoncx managed to make a qualified save. FC Oppernieuw's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Ewout Vrijdags managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Oppernieuw's supporters rose to their feet, but Ewout Vrijdags was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emmanuel Roosendael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 97th minute, Ewout Vrijdags left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Oppernieuw fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. The The Eleven Titans players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
