Spectators: 7349 (Terracing: 5624, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 0) Loid Lyens started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Andris Wortelaert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loid Lyens in the 3rd minute of play. Ron Verlinden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Pieter Van Den Eynde having to interfere. Ron Verlinden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th match minute, RSC Beekhoek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaques Allaert to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Pieter Van Den Eynde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ron Verlinden, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute, Jeremy De Weijngaerden made a precise shot to the right of Jan-Pieter Van Den Eynde. RSC Beekhoek's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When Paul Bernaers fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Keiem's protests and gave Paul Bernaers a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute, Paul Bernaers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Keiem's Andris Wortelaert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loid Lyens in the 42nd minute of play. Ron Verlinden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the game, Keiem's Jeremy De Weijngaerden nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan-Pieter Van Den Eynde made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ron Verlinden made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Paul Bernaers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremy De Weijngaerden in the 55th minute of play forced RSC Beekhoek's goalkeeper Jan-Pieter Van Den Eynde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Paul Bernaers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ron Verlinden took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan-Pieter Van Den Eynde. Jan-Pieter Van Den Eynde dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Ron Verlinden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Pieter Van Den Eynde having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in RSC Beekhoek's zone, Jeremy De Weijngaerden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Pieter Van Den Eynde came out of the goal and Jeremy De Weijngaerden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gillis Vorster could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Andris Wortelaert made a huge save. In the 73rd minute, Ron Verlinden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Keiem getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Paul Bernaers hit a great ball. Gillis Vorster could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Andris Wortelaert made a huge save. Jeremy De Weijngaerden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeremy De Weijngaerden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Paul Bernaers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Keiem's supporters rose to their feet, but Paul Bernaers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Pieter Van Den Eynde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Keiem's Jeremy De Weijngaerden got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind RSC Beekhoek's goalkeeper Jan-Pieter Van Den Eynde, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Paul Bernaers was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 97 minutes had been played. Paul Bernaers hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match.
