Jan-Pieter Van Den Eynde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurenz Sproten, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Luc Knockaert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loid Lyens in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, KV Bernissart was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niels Koninkx to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute Will Van Aghten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luc Knockaert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luc Knockaert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Loid Lyens 's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Jan-Pieter Van Den Eynde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yoeri De Jonghe in the 27th minute of play. Jan-Pieter Van Den Eynde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurenz Sproten in the 33rd minute of play. Laurenz Sproten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Pieter Van Den Eynde having to interfere. After some careless play in the RSC Beekhoek defense, Yoeri De Jonghe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan-Pieter Van Den Eynde. The RSC Beekhoek fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan-Pieter Van Den Eynde should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, KV Bernissart's Luc Knockaert got control of the ball when Samuel Slabbaert tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laurenz Sproten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yoeri De Jonghe might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan-Pieter Van Den Eynde. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Loid Lyens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yoeri De Jonghe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Jan-Pieter Van Den Eynde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Loid Lyens in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luc Knockaert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jammy De Keijsere during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th minute, one of KV Bernissart:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KV Bernissart. With a little luck, RSC Beekhoek's Jan-Pieter Van Den Eynde got control of the ball when Yoeri De Jonghe tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Loid Lyens 's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luc Knockaert was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Luc Knockaert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gillis Vorster in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd match minute, KV Bernissart was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joe Van Houtvin to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to KV Bernissart getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Mathieux Acke hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loid Lyens in the 100th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luc Knockaert saved KV Bernissart from getting behind. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
