After a rather tough play, Voorne's Bobby Vos got a free kick in the 5th minute. Charlie Van Den Bosche hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Cederic Van Dijck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneel Van Elsen having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Luke Vanhaeren put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Corneel Van Elsen. After a defensive mix-up in Voorne's zone, Steffe De Mesemaekre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corneel Van Elsen came out of the goal and Steffe De Mesemaekre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luke Vanhaeren in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Corneel Van Elsen saved Voorne from getting behind. Renzo Castermans made in the 28th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Andreas Vuerinx. When Luke Vanhaeren came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the KSV Coolegem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luke Vanhaeren couldn't finish the play. If Cederic Van Dijck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Vuerinx in the 34th minute of play forced KSV Coolegem's goalkeeper Joannes Marrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Voorne getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Bobby Vos hit a great ball. Joannes Marrant made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Claus Lanphan sent off a good shot on target. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andreas Vuerinx to make the kick off. KSV Coolegem's Joannes Marrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Vuerinx in the 72nd minute of play. A collision led to KSV Coolegem getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Cederic Van Dijck hit a great ball. In the 76th minute, Andreas Vuerinx made a precise shot to the right of Joannes Marrant. KSV Coolegem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. A sloppy throw-in by Gregorie Kest in the 80th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by KSV Coolegem's Steffe De Mesemaekre. Steffe De Mesemaekre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 82 minutes into the match, KSV Coolegem's Armin De Vito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Corneel Van Elsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 85thth minute of the game Luke Vanhaeren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Voorne's Corneel Van Elsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Cederic Van Dijck came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the KSV Coolegem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cederic Van Dijck couldn't finish the play. A hard shot by Cederic Van Dijck from long distance, 95 minutes into the match, got Corneel Van Elsen's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. KSV Coolegem played a much better game than Voorne and deserved their victory. The Voorne players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
