Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sam Versluys got the match started through his kick off. Silvain Huybreghts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Sam Versluys's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arsene De Weijngaert was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. In the 7th match minute, RSC Havay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thibau Reiniers to maneuver through the defense. When Frederic Visch came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Moerhuize fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frederic Visch couldn't finish the play. Gerard Verhaegen made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Jaques Van Der Linden sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as RSC Havay's Silvain Huybreghts slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gerard Verhaegen. That made the score 1-0 after 18 minutes of play. Sam Versluys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arsene De Weijngaert having to interfere. Frederic Visch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Arsene De Weijngaert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Moerhuize's Frederic Visch in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RSC Havay's goalie prevented a goal. RSC Havay's Arsene De Weijngaert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nick De Jong in the 42nd minute of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Sam Versluys managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moerhuize's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sam Versluys was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvain Huybreghts made a kick off. If Frederic Visch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th play minute Sam Versluys came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Arsene De Weijngaert. 1-3. In the 61st match minute, Moerhuize was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathieu-Maxim Rauvoe to maneuver through the defense. When Francis Baeten fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RSC Havay's protests and gave Francis Baeten a yellow card for diving instead. After 65 played minutes RSC Havay got a freekick which was hit by Francis Baeten. In the 68th minute, Sam Versluys ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arsene De Weijngaert was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Sam Versluys came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arsene De Weijngaert could save by the left post. If Sam Versluys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th match minute, RSC Havay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arend Renotte to maneuver through the defense. After 75 minutes, Thibau Reiniers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RSC Havay and the Moerhuize players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Sam Versluys managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moerhuize's supporters rose to their feet, but Sam Versluys was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arsene De Weijngaert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arsene De Weijngaert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederic Visch, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
