In the 13th minute, Nicolas Van Impe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The I QUIT I STOP BYE 4 NOW fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a rather tough play, I QUIT I STOP BYE 4 NOW's Diederick Reynders got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, RSC Havay's Jaques Van Der Linden ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Herbert Steurms. Herbert Steurms yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Arsene De Weijngaert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicolas Van Impe went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Van Impe in the 28th minute of play forced RSC Havay's goalkeeper Arsene De Weijngaert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the I QUIT I STOP BYE 4 NOW defense, Jaques Van Der Linden kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herbert Steurms. The I QUIT I STOP BYE 4 NOW fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herbert Steurms should have stopped the shot. Jaques Van Der Linden came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Herbert Steurms could save by the left post. Silvain Huybreghts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Steurms having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvain Huybreghts was the one to do the kick off. Thibau Reiniers charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thibau Reiniers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to RSC Havay getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Thibau Reiniers hit a great ball. Herbert Steurms took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaques Van Der Linden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herbert Steurms made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvain Huybreghts in the 60th minute of play. Silvain Huybreghts scored 4-2 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herbert Steurms, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Jaques Van Der Linden managed to get in a good position for a shot. RSC Havay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaques Van Der Linden was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herbert Steurms breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the I QUIT I STOP BYE 4 NOW defense, Silvain Huybreghts kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herbert Steurms. Arsene De Weijngaert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rudy Debock came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the I QUIT I STOP BYE 4 NOW fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rudy Debock couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The RSC Havay fans cheered their team off the field, for while I QUIT I STOP BYE 4 NOW had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
