A wasted opportunity for FC Grivegnée. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Giovanny Roosendael put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Patrick Bouwmans. Tuur Goegebeur was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 42nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Giovanny Roosendael's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patrick Bouwmans was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. 46 minutes into the match, FC Grivegnée's goalkeeper Matias de Pelsmaeker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerrit Marchal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ludo De Block to make the kick off. The supporters of AFC DeHaan booed when FC Grivegnée was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerome Hostyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Giovanny Roosendael lined in a short shot 2-2 behind a frustrated Patrick Bouwmans. FC Grivegnée's Tuur Goegebeur got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matias de Pelsmaeker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludo De Block in the 82nd minute of play. After 83 played minutes FC Grivegnée got a freekick which was hit by Jerome Hostyn. After 88 played minutes, AFC DeHaan's Dyllan Geijselinx shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Matias de Pelsmaeker came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AFC DeHaan reached it. Matias de Pelsmaeker came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC DeHaan's Ludo De Block. But to his dismay, Ludo De Block quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Matias de Pelsmaeker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludo De Block in the 94th minute of the match. AFC DeHaan's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
