Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Anthoon Verduyckt started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Tourpes's Ramon De Kerpel got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 4 minutes into the match, Guido Bastiaens notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Tourpes's Anton Verhelst. Anton Verhelst was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Donkerput getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Julien Andries hit a great ball. Dries Decoster took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tim-Jan Van den Broeck. Donkerput's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Charles-Antoine Jannis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Donkerput's attack was well implemented in the 24th minute, but when Guido Bastiaens was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After a rather tough play, Tourpes's Ramon De Kerpel got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute, Guido Bastiaens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anton Verhelst was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Benedict Persoens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tourpes's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedict Persoens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tim-Jan Van den Broeck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tourpes's goalkeeper Anton Verhelst, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Charles-Antoine Jannis made a kick off. After some careless play in the Tourpes defense, Charles-Antoine Jannis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anton Verhelst. The Tourpes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anton Verhelst should have stopped the shot. Tim-Jan Van den Broeck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthoon Verduyckt in the 62nd minute of play. Anthoon Verduyckt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim-Jan Van den Broeck having to interfere. After 71 played minutes Donkerput got a freekick which was hit by Vince Wijnants. Benedict Persoens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Tim-Jan Van den Broeck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tim-Jan Van den Broeck was a little too slow when Anthoon Verduyckt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 3-2. After 81 minutes, Michel Loozen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tourpes and the Donkerput players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st match minute, Tourpes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Loozen to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, Charles-Antoine Jannis notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Tourpes's Anton Verhelst. Anton Verhelst was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tourpes players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Donkerput.
