An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremey Nijs in the 7th minute of play forced Club Oudenburg's goalkeeper Luc Verheijd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mattheo Weets got free with Luc Verheijd in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jeremey Nijs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Luc Verheijd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luc Verheijd made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeremey Nijs was the one to do the kick off. After 58 minutes of play, Waasdonk's Mitch Debock made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luc Verheijd was left in no man's land by his defense there!
