Constantijn Stuijckens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Dirk Van Hallebeecke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mathieu Van Meel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daan Van Caubergen having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Constantijn Stuijckens made a precise shot to the right of Dirk Van Hallebeecke. SC Spy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Adolf Van Gorp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gertjan Sulems hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. A collision led to Wespelaar getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Gertjan Sulems hit a great ball. Daan Van Caubergen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolf Van Gorp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kim Loosen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dirk Van Hallebeecke read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Kim Loosen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dirk Van Hallebeecke, 2-0. In the 35th minute of the match Siebe Verheyden shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daan Van Caubergen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Wespelaar's Kim Loosen got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adolf Van Gorp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Daan Van Caubergen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daan Van Caubergen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolf Van Gorp, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mathieu Van Meel to strike the kick off in the second half. Kim Loosen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Wespelaar's Gertjan Sulems got a free kick in the 55th minute. Lucas Huijsmans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daan Van Caubergen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathieu Van Meel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the game, Constantijn Stuijckens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Dirk Van Hallebeecke was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mathieu Van Meel kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The supporters of Wespelaar booed when SC Spy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Jaspers didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Mathieu Van Meel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Spy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathieu Van Meel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Wespelaar booed when SC Spy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willem De Rijck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adolf Van Gorp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Daan Van Caubergen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolf Van Gorp charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adolf Van Gorp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 92 played minutes SC Spy got a freekick which was hit by Adolf Van Gorp. SC Spy's Dirk Van Hallebeecke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantijn Stuijckens in the 93rd minute of play. Siebe Verheyden kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Spy players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Wespelaar.
