After a defensive mix-up in Elen's zone, Elpidio Toribio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mathias-Alexander Naets came out of the goal and Elpidio Toribio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Romain Van Meerbeec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mathias-Alexander Naets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Toribio in the 11th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Elen's zone, Kasper Sterckmans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mathias-Alexander Naets came out of the goal and Kasper Sterckmans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Elen! Mathias-Alexander Naets was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Kasper Sterckmans capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kasper Sterckmans really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 37th minute, Elpidio Toribio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 姜卫翀 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mathias-Alexander Naets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Toribio in the 44th minute of the match. Mathias-Alexander Naets made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Elpidio Toribio sent off a good shot on target. 47 minutes into the match, Elen's goal looked a bit too open when Kasper Sterckmans came free, but Mathias-Alexander Naets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Daan Stevens took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Sabin Zdrelea to make any attempt to save it. Mathias-Alexander Naets stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elpidio Toribio's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Elpidio Toribio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 64 minutes, 姜卫翀 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Bull Predators's supporters crossed their fingers, but 姜卫翀 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Henri-Patrick De Weyngaert fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elen's protests and gave Henri-Patrick De Weyngaert a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Elen's Henri-Patrick De Weyngaert got a free kick in the 66th minute. Elpidio Toribio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mathias-Alexander Naets having to make a save. 71 minutes into the game, Red Bull Predators's Elpidio Toribio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mathias-Alexander Naets made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. When Red Bull Predators's Elpidio Toribio in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Klaas Vuerinx during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 79 played minutes Elen got a freekick which was hit by Klaas Vuerinx. Elpidio Toribio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Kasper Sterckmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elpidio Toribio might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mathias-Alexander Naets. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elpidio Toribio ran back to his position shaking his head. If Elpidio Toribio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Red Bull Predators's Romain Van Meerbeec got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
