Spectators: 7390 (Terracing: 5544, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 147) Gillis Maeijnaerts started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A collision led to Anderlecht TH getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Gino Minnen hit a great ball. Yanis Desmet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Anderlecht TH's Octavian Van Hoovelt got control of the ball when Yanis Desmet tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15th minute, Anderlecht TH's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Yanis Desmet fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 17 played minutes Assenede got a freekick which was hit by Bertan Reniers. In the 18th minute of the match Sylvain Langendonck sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guilian Hofnagels skillfully saved the ball. Yanis Desmet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Octavian Van Hoovelt having to make a save. Guilian Hofnagels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gillis Maeijnaerts in the 32nd minute of play. Franck Van Der Linden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Guilian Hofnagels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andries Libreghts kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. If Gillis Maeijnaerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th match minute, Assenede was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yanis Desmet to maneuver through the defense.

The supporters of Anderlecht TH booed when Assenede was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yanis Luytens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Assenede's Guilian Hofnagels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gillis Maeijnaerts in the 62nd minute of play. Franck Van Der Linden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Guilian Hofnagels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gino Minnen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th match minute, Assenede was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Van Landschoot to maneuver through the defense. If Gillis Maeijnaerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Assenede's goalkeeper Guilian Hofnagels, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Anderlecht TH booed when Assenede was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Van Landschoot didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Gillis Maeijnaerts managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anderlecht TH's supporters rose to their feet, but Gillis Maeijnaerts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guilian Hofnagels breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anderlecht TH's Gillis Maeijnaerts got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Anderlecht TH left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Assenede.
