When Emmanuel Pelleman fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kortessem United's protests and gave Emmanuel Pelleman a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Kortessem United's Emmanuel Pelleman got a free kick in the 24th minute. 26 minutes in the game Yanick Snieders got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Patrick De Baere could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Miguel Verstappen made a huge save. Miguel Verstappen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick De Baere in the 30th minute of the match. David Morreels took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Verstappen. Miguel Verstappen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 34 played minutes Kortessem United got a freekick which was hit by Ward Campens. Thanks to some nice moves David Morreels could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Miguel Verstappen however easily saved by the left post. 42 minutes into the game, Karel-Jan Loos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wings Of Destiny's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kortessem United the free kick. A collision led to Wings Of Destiny getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Karel-Jan Loos hit a great ball. Jeroen Valkeneers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emmanuel Pelleman in the 45th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Morreels got free with Miguel Verstappen in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

After 77 minutes of play, Wings Of Destiny's David Morreels made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miguel Verstappen was left in no man's land by his defense there! 81 minutes into the match, Matt Libreghts had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miguel Verstappen. Kortessem United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matt Libreghts was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Jeroen Valkeneers was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Tibaut Struijf capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tibaut Struijf really showed his touch with that goal: 5-3. Kortessem United's Miguel Verstappen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Morreels in the 88th minute of play. Kortessem United's Tibaut Struijf got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Kortessem United's Tibaut Struijf got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Miguel Verstappen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick De Baere in the 94th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kortessem United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Wings Of Destiny.
