Cederic Vogels who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Jacobus Lejeune when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Christopher Kersselaers struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Jacobus Lejeune didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beernem. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorn Kints in the 33rd minute of play forced Beernem's goalkeeper Maxim Du Bois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cederic Vogels who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Jacobus Lejeune when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 37 minutes into the game, Martin Coomans was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Tournai's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beernem the free kick. SC Tournai's Jacobus Lejeune proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save SC Tournai from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes into the match, SC Tournai's goalkeeper Jacobus Lejeune had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cederic Vogels. Christopher Kersselaers had several of the SC Tournai's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 40 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Jacobus Lejeune as he didn't even see the shot coming. The crowd rose to their feet as Beernem's Christopher Kersselaers slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jacobus Lejeune. That made the score 4-0 after 44 minutes of play.

In the 51st match minute, SC Tournai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ritchie Lingier to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Beernem booed when SC Tournai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Coomans didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Cederic Vogels got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Cederic Vogels's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobus Lejeune was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Jacobus Lejeune showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cederic Vogels, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute.
