With a little luck, FC Evilstewie's Dries De Clerk got control of the ball when Adalberto Nunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to FC Evilstewie getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Sven De Wulf hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adalberto Nunes got free with Dries De Clerk in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dries De Clerk was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ronald Dalmeijer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. Adalberto Nunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Dries De Clerk made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Ronald Dalmeijer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dries De Clerk was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Dries De Clerk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronald Dalmeijer's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Stef Krabbe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dries De Clerk yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. 48 minutes into the game, Adalberto Nunes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dries De Clerk. Adalberto Nunes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven De Wulf made a kick off. Sven De Wulf kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Dries De Clerk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto Nunes in the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute Ronald Dalmeijer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dries De Clerk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rudy Driesen walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Ronald Dalmeijer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Dries De Clerk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Ronald Dalmeijer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Dries De Clerk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 69th minute Ronald Dalmeijer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dries De Clerk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gillis Van Landewijck hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. FC Evilstewie's Dries De Clerk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronald Dalmeijer in the 88th minute of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Adalberto Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RSC Anderlecht's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adalberto Nunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute, Ronald Dalmeijer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dries De Clerk was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Dries De Clerk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronald Dalmeijer in the 99th minute of play. There was no doubt that RSC Anderlecht were the better team. RSC Anderlecht's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
