Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Lepelhem's Andreas Eggermont started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Andy Soetemans charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andy Soetemans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sylvan Swiggers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronald Dalmeijer, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. RSC Anderlecht's attack was well implemented in the 9th minute, but when Adalberto Nunes was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. With an all-out effort, RSC Anderlecht's Sylvan Swiggers threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ronald Dalmeijer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sylvan Swiggers came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by RSC Anderlecht's Adalberto Nunes. But to his dismay, Adalberto Nunes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Sylvan Swiggers made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Adalberto Nunes sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th minute Ronald Dalmeijer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sylvan Swiggers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sylvan Swiggers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronald Dalmeijer went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Adalberto Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sylvan Swiggers having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Andries Louckx was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lepelhem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RSC Anderlecht the free kick. After 45 played minutes Lepelhem got a freekick which was hit by Andries Louckx. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Mattias Van Hole made the kick off in the second half. Andreas Eggermont recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adalberto Nunes in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sylvan Swiggers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Van Hole in the 59th minute of play forced Lepelhem's goalkeeper Sylvan Swiggers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Mattias Van Hole made a precise shot to the right of Sylvan Swiggers. Lepelhem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Jarno Van Malcot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Eggermont in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, RSC Anderlecht's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Eggermont came free, but Jarno Van Malcot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Andreas Eggermont had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Mattias Van Hole managed to get in a good position for a shot. RSC Anderlecht's supporters rose to their feet, but Mattias Van Hole was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sylvan Swiggers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lepelhem's Sylvan Swiggers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Van Hole in the 96th minute of play.
