Spectators: 7550 (Terracing: 5664, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kim Luytens kicked off to start the match. Nils Van Eynde in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jacque Verhaeghen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jacque Verhaeghen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kim Luytens, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Nils Van Eynde scored 2-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacque Verhaeghen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Black Eagles's goalkeeper Miguel Paschiers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Frederic Pardons hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 23 played minutes, KVSK Baandries's Toon Demeester shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Miguel Paschiers came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in KVSK Baandries reached it. The audience was convinced that Frederic Pardons's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacque Verhaeghen was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Francis van Eycken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Paschiers having to interfere. Nils Van Eynde scored 3-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacque Verhaeghen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Miguel Paschiers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francis van Eycken in the 36th minute of the match. Kim Luytens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Dominic Windelinckx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toon Demeester hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Andy Van den Driesch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacque Verhaeghen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 50th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dominic Windelinckx was the one to do the kick off. Jacque Verhaeghen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kim Luytens's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gino De Mol during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, KVSK Baandries's Gino De Mol got a free kick in the 57th minute. Nils Van Eynde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Jacque Verhaeghen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Francis van Eycken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Paschiers acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 64th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Adolphe Hauwaerts. In the 66th minute, Mattijs Vanden Bussche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 75 minutes, Andy Van den Driesch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Black Eagles and the KVSK Baandries players grew even worse after the yellow card. Andy Van den Driesch kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Miguel Paschiers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominic Windelinckx, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Dominic Windelinckx might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miguel Paschiers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dominic Windelinckx ran back to his position shaking his head. Dominic Windelinckx recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dominic Windelinckx received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Miguel Paschiers came out and tried to block the shot, but Dominic Windelinckx slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 94th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The The Black Eagles fans cheered their team off the field, for while KVSK Baandries had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
