But to his dismay, Anthony Ceroux quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Anthony Ceroux was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 32nd minute. Club Gerin's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Club Gerin's Patrik Mons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gertjan Pelsers in the 34th minute of play. KoSmoS's Billie Van De Wijngaert got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Gertjan Pelsers had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patrik Mons. Club Gerin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gertjan Pelsers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 44th minute, Anthony Ceroux reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sylvain Colebinders. The goal made the score 2-3. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 57th minute, Gertjan Pelsers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, KoSmoS's goal looked a bit too open when Anthony Ceroux came free, but Sylvain Colebinders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Anthony Ceroux left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Gerin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gertjan Pelsers in the 69th minute of play forced Club Gerin's goalkeeper Patrik Mons to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 played minutes KoSmoS got a freekick which was hit by Gust Michiels. Club Gerin's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
