In the 17th minute, Kasper Goos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, The Black Eagles's goalkeeper Miguel Paschiers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Steffen Van Impe. When Frederic Pardons came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the The Black Eagles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frederic Pardons couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute, Kim Luytens left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Black Eagles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Gertjan Pelsers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Paschiers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. KoSmoS's Willy Walder got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nils Van Eynde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Sylvain Colebinders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kim Luytens made a kick off. Sylvain Colebinders was a little too slow when Kim Luytens got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-2. The referee felt a red card was in order, 56 minutes into the game, when Romain Vrins put in a rough tackle. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for KoSmoS! The referee gave The Black Eagles a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Balthazar Verschelde, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of KoSmoS's Sylvain Colebinders. 0-3. KoSmoS's Sylvain Colebinders played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kim Luytens in the 67th minute of play. KoSmoS's Gertjan Pelsers got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the The Black Eagles defense, Gertjan Pelsers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Paschiers. The The Black Eagles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Paschiers should have stopped the shot. Gertjan Pelsers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Miguel Paschiers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sylvain Colebinders was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kim Luytens showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 79 minute of play. Gertjan Pelsers took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Paschiers. Miguel Paschiers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. After a defensive mix-up in The Black Eagles's zone, Gertjan Pelsers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Paschiers came out of the goal and Gertjan Pelsers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steffen Van Impe in the 90th minute of play forced The Black Eagles's goalkeeper Miguel Paschiers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Paschiers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steffen Van Impe in the 91st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Gertjan Pelsers put it in 3-5 from a short distance just to the right of Miguel Paschiers. The Black Eagles's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
