Robbe Roockeloes came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by KFC VLadivorstock's Diederik van Eycken. But to his dismay, Diederik van Eycken quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 25 minutes, Lucas Winnepenninck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KV Vleteren and the KFC VLadivorstock players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of KFC VLadivorstock booed when KV Vleteren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Winnepenninck didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Diederik van Eycken managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KFC VLadivorstock's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diederik van Eycken was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jullian Olemans struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Marnix Hagemans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KV Vleteren. In the 38th match minute, KV Vleteren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Oliviers to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Diederik van Eycken ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robbe Roockeloes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 45th minute, Robbie Everts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half KFC VLadivorstock were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Max Oliviers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Marnix Hagemans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gwenn Claessens fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KFC VLadivorstock's protests and gave Gwenn Claessens a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th match minute, KFC VLadivorstock was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gwenn Claessens to maneuver through the defense. Diederik van Eycken blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robbe Roockeloes having to make a save.
