Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gwen Van Brusselen got the match started through his kick off. In the 9th minute Wouter Van Steen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loui Van Haeght saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Richard Marrant came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Cerva fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Richard Marrant couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Cerva's Niki Van der Willeghem got a free kick in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wouter Van Steen in the 24th minute of play forced Cerva's goalkeeper Loui Van Haeght to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Marrant in the 26th minute of play forced LYNX's goalkeeper Yelle Imbreghts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lukas Sterckmans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lukas Sterckmans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Yelle Imbreghts made a huge save. Richard Marrant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yelle Imbreghts having to interfere. Yelle Imbreghts made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lukas Sterckmans in the 33rd minute. Yelle Imbreghts made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Lukas Sterckmans sent off a good shot on target. Richard Marrant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Yelle Imbreghts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 played minutes LYNX got a freekick which was hit by William Vereyt. Richard Marrant recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half LYNX were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Richard Marrant to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Lukas Sterckmans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Yelle Imbreghts was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the LYNX defense, Lukas Sterckmans kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yelle Imbreghts. The LYNX fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yelle Imbreghts should have stopped the shot. Cerva's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when William Vereyt scored to the left of an out of position Loui Van Haeght, making the score, 2-2. Loui Van Haeght showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwen Van Brusselen, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Richard Marrant managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cerva's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard Marrant was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yelle Imbreghts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 73 minutes into the match, Richard Marrant notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of LYNX's Yelle Imbreghts. Yelle Imbreghts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Jeremy Smidts came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the LYNX fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremy Smidts couldn't finish the play. After 84 played minutes Cerva got a freekick which was hit by Jakob Herpoel. In the 91stth minute of the game Lukas Sterckmans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LYNX's Yelle Imbreghts was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Richard Marrant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Yelle Imbreghts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cerva walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
