Willem Volens was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 4 minutes into the match. 4 minutes into the game, one of Jupilose CF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 10th minute, Jupilose CF's Jordy De Langhe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Erwin Jooris. Erwin Jooris yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Tran Koenens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Van Herendael, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. With a little luck, AFC Zemst's Erwin Jooris got control of the ball when Jordy De Langhe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Van Herendael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tran Koenens having to interfere. Hubert De Backer's late challenge caught a AFC Zemst's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hubert De Backer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute, Hubert De Backer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute of the match Gert-Jan Van Geele sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tran Koenens skillfully saved the ball. Jordy De Langhe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Erwin Jooris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Van Herendael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tran Koenens having to interfere.

After 51 minutes of play, Jupilose CF's Nestor Gijsbrechts made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erwin Jooris was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jordy De Langhe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jupilose CF's goalkeeper Tran Koenens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peter-Jan Keuppens was extremely unlucky when he, in the 61st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Peter-Jan Keuppens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Victor Cools hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Van Herendael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Jordy De Langhe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jordy De Langhe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Erwin Jooris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the AFC Zemst defense, Jordy De Langhe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erwin Jooris. The AFC Zemst fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erwin Jooris should have stopped the shot. When Peter-Jan Keuppens came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the AFC Zemst fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter-Jan Keuppens couldn't finish the play. A collision led to AFC Zemst getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Gert-Jan Van Geele hit a great ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Sander Stevens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jupilose CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sander Stevens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute, Jordy De Langhe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jupilose CF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of AFC Zemst for a fine match.
