With 4 minutes on the clock, Stefan Holemans commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 4 minutes into the game, one of FC Armadillos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 6 minutes, FC Pouri's Sylven Koppen got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jannis De Kock. Luka Vrijdags blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jannis De Kock having to make a save. Hendrik Heijlen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, FC Armadillos's Philip Van Campenhout got a free kick in the 15th minute. Sylven Koppen, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 24th minute, Joerie Van de Velde fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jannis De Kock, passed just outside the right post. After having played for 32 minutes, Philip Van Campenhout managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Armadillos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Philip Van Campenhout was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joerie Van de Velde's late challenge caught a FC Armadillos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joerie Van de Velde helped the player get up and apologised. When Sylven Koppen fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Pouri's protests and gave Sylven Koppen a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of FC Pouri:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Armadillos:s goal. The referee gave FC Armadillos a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tom Coppens, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Pouri's Ernest Teunens. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexandre Verheecke to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Hendrik Heijlen notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of FC Armadillos's Jannis De Kock. Jannis De Kock was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luka Vrijdags sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 3-1 became the score in the 65th minute when Luka Vrijdags elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, FC Armadillos's goal looked a bit too open when Luka Vrijdags came free, but Jannis De Kock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Philip Van Campenhout hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luka Vrijdags sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jannis De Kock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hendrik Heijlen, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The supporters of FC Pouri booed when FC Armadillos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Verheecke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luka Vrijdags fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jannis De Kock having to interfere. Hendrik Heijlen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Jannis De Kock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Luka Vrijdags got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hendrik Heijlen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that FC Pouri were the better team. FC Pouri's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
