Spectators: 7337 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1747, VIP seats: 90) Frederick Heirpoel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Guust Van Eyke scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustav Van Bouschot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Guust Van Eyke took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustav Van Bouschot. Gustav Van Bouschot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When Tim-Jan De Brouwer fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brigata Nera's protests and gave Tim-Jan De Brouwer a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Brigata Nera getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Tim-Jan De Brouwer hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Guust Van Eyke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustav Van Bouschot. Brigata Nera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guust Van Eyke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Frederick Heirpoel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ricky Wyns tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricky Wyns made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Julien Maenhout sent off a good shot on target. Gustav Van Bouschot came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by KAA Nismes's Guust Van Eyke. But to his dismay, Guust Van Eyke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andreas Robin during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Brigata Nera's Andreas Robin got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Guust Van Eyke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustav Van Bouschot having to interfere. In the 39thth minute of the game Guust Van Eyke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brigata Nera's Gustav Van Bouschot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gustav Van Bouschot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guust Van Eyke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorne De Backer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Gustav Van Bouschot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Guust Van Eyke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half KAA Nismes were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guust Van Eyke to make the kick off. Gustav Van Bouschot stood somewhat misplaced when Guust Van Eyke came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 52 minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abel Keuppens got free with Gustav Van Bouschot in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andreas Robin hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 57 minutes in the game, Guust Van Eyke dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. When Abel Keuppens came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the KAA Nismes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Keuppens couldn't finish the play. Tim-Jan De Brouwer hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Luke Asselberghs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Gustav Van Bouschot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brigata Nera's Gustav Van Bouschot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luke Asselberghs in the 65th minute of play. When KAA Nismes's Guust Van Eyke in 68 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Gustav Van Bouschot guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Guust Van Eyke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Gustav Van Bouschot made a huge save. In the 86th minute, Brigata Nera's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Guust Van Eyke fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Julien Maenhout fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricky Wyns having to interfere. KAA Nismes played a much better game than Brigata Nera and deserved their victory. The Brigata Nera players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
