Spectators: 7565 (Terracing: 5675, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 151) DFC United Colors's Laurenz Coenens started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 13 played minutes DFC United Colors got a freekick which was hit by Robrecht De Cerpel. A collision led to DFC United Colors getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Adolphe Wuets hit a great ball. In the 15th minute Hendrik Heijlen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordi Maenhout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Hendrik Heijlen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Laurenz Coenens struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Ernest Teunens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DFC United Colors. In the 31st minute, Hendrik Heijlen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Pouri fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Laurenz Coenens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Adolphe Wuets hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, FC Pouri's goal looked a bit too open when Laurenz Coenens came free, but Ernest Teunens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kurt Jespers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernest Teunens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Luka Vrijdags made the kick off in the second half. Ernest Teunens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Jespers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jordi Maenhout made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Hendrik Heijlen sent off a good shot on target. Ernest Teunens came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by DFC United Colors's Kurt Jespers. But to his dismay, Kurt Jespers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Kurt Jespers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Laurenz Coenens came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the DFC United Colors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laurenz Coenens couldn't finish the play. The supporters of FC Pouri booed when DFC United Colors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopold Hennes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernest Teunens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Jespers, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. If Hendrik Heijlen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luka Vrijdags sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
