Ernest Teunens had in the 18thth minute some difficulties stopping Jan-Simon De Koster's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ernest Teunens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Laurenz Coenens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ernest Teunens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half DFC United Colors were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
