Spectators: 7555 (Terracing: 5668, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Evert-Jan Wery kicked off to start the match. Marcus Van den Plas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tristan Vervaeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Weegschede booed when Vlesenbeek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philip Timmermans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Weegschede's Evert-Jan Wery in the 12th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Kris Vanhaeren was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Vlesenbeek through an amazing save. Stefan Heers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Van den Plas having to interfere. Marcus Van den Plas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tristan Vervaeck in the 23rd minute of the match. Tristan Vervaeck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonas De Worteler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Stefan Heers made a precise shot to the right of Marcus Van den Plas. Weegschede's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Marcus Van den Plas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tristan Vervaeck went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. If Stefan Heers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Weegschede's goalkeeper Marcus Van den Plas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 40 minutes into the game, Steffen Van Hoyvelt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Weegschede's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vlesenbeek the free kick. After a rather tough play, Weegschede's Steffen Van Hoyvelt got a free kick in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Heers in the 41st minute of play forced Weegschede's goalkeeper Marcus Van den Plas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 played minutes Vlesenbeek got a freekick which was hit by Tristan Vervaeck. 46 minutes into the match, Vlesenbeek's Tristan Vervaeck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcus Van den Plas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half Vlesenbeek were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Tristan Vervaeck made the kick off in the second half. Marcus Van den Plas made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Stefan Heers sent off a good shot on target. If Tristan Vervaeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th match minute, Weegschede was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Hollanders to maneuver through the defense. Tristan Vervaeck received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcus Van den Plas came out and tried to block the shot, but Tristan Vervaeck slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 59th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Weegschede's goal looked a bit too open when Tristan Vervaeck came free, but Marcus Van den Plas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tristan Vervaeck in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Van den Plas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 68 minutes into the match, Weegschede's goalkeeper Marcus Van den Plas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stefan Heers. If Stefan Heers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Weegschede's goal looked a bit too open when Tristan Vervaeck came free, but Marcus Van den Plas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stefan Heers got free with Marcus Van den Plas in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes in the game, Tristan Vervaeck fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Marcus Van den Plas having to interfere. Stefan Heerss short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Marcus Van den Plas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 96 minutes into the match, Vlesenbeek's Stefan Heers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcus Van den Plas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vlesenbeek's Tristan Vervaeck got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Vlesenbeek could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Weegschede throughout the match.
