In the 10thth minute of the game Jos Van der Goten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Twiztid's Wart Van den Berchen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 12 minutes into the game, FC Twiztid's Bruno Moreau nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Loui Hollandts made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, Bruno Moreau notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Tikken en weg's Loui Hollandts. Loui Hollandts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 19 minutes, Jos Van der Goten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tikken en weg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jos Van der Goten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Felix Uijterhove managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tikken en weg's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Uijterhove was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wart Van den Berchen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 23 minutes into the match, Bruno Moreau notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Tikken en weg's Loui Hollandts. Loui Hollandts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 33 minutes, Bruno Moreau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Twiztid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Moreau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Tikken en weg's Jos Van der Goten in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Twiztid's goalie prevented a goal. Loui Hollandts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Moreau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jos Van der Goten's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Wart Van den Berchen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After the first half FC Twiztid were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matthias Van Severen to make the kick off. With a little luck, Tikken en weg's Loui Hollandts got control of the ball when Bart Lenaerts tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jos Van der Goten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wart Van den Berchen was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Gaetan De Vleeschauwer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wart Van den Berchen having to interfere. Loui Hollandts made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Bruno Moreau sent off a good shot on target. If Jos Van der Goten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Loui Hollandts came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Twiztid's Bruno Moreau. But to his dismay, Bruno Moreau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. 74 minutes into the match, Bruno Moreau notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Tikken en weg's Loui Hollandts. Loui Hollandts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jos Van der Goten in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wart Van den Berchen saved FC Twiztid from getting behind. Matthias Van Severen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bruno Moreau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FC Twiztid's Laurenz Asselberghs got a free kick in the 90th minute. If Bruno Moreau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Tikken en weg supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Twiztid's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Twiztid.
