After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Pierrot Haentjens managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC Waalshoek's supporters rose to their feet, but Pierrot Haentjens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcus Van den Plas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Arsene De Raedemaecker came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the KFC Waalshoek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arsene De Raedemaecker couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pierrot Haentjens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 81stth minute of the game Pierrot Haentjens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Weegschede's Marcus Van den Plas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of KFC Waalshoek booed when Weegschede was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert-Jan Wery didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcus Van den Plas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierrot Haentjens in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Evert-Jan Wery got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. KFC Waalshoek played a much better game than Weegschede and deserved their victory. The Weegschede players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
