Spectators: 6724 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dave Schockaert made the kick off which started today's match. The audience was convinced that Dave Schockaert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcus Van den Plas was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. In the 6th minute Dave Schockaert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Van den Plas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dave Schockaert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timothy Tielemans blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcus Van den Plas having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Hollanders in the 22nd minute of play forced Vaul-Chavanne's goalkeeper Jarne Vrins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 played minutes Weegschede got a freekick which was hit by Steffen Van Hoyvelt. Marcus Van den Plas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Timothy Tielemans in the 27th minute. Jonas De Worteler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Jarne Vrins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jarne Vrins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evert-Jan Wery in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, one of Vaul-Chavanne:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vaul-Chavanne. Jarne Vrins had in the 35thth minute some difficulties stopping Thomas-Jan Driesen's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Evert-Jan Wery was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Weegschede's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vaul-Chavanne the free kick. In the 40th match minute, Weegschede was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evert-Jan Wery to maneuver through the defense. Marcus Van den Plas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Schockaert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dave Schockaert was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 45th minute. Vaul-Chavanne's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in Vaul-Chavanne's zone, Viktor Hollanders stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarne Vrins came out of the goal and Viktor Hollanders tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After a defensive mix-up in Vaul-Chavanne's zone, Evert-Jan Wery stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarne Vrins came out of the goal and Evert-Jan Wery tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jarne Vrins made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Jonas De Worteler sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd minute, Evert-Jan Wery got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Jonas De Worteler dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jarne Vrins, 0-2. Bertrand Jennis's late challenge caught a Weegschede's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bertrand Jennis helped the player get up and apologised. After 68 played minutes Vaul-Chavanne got a freekick which was hit by Bertrand Jennis. Marcus Van den Plas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Schockaert in the 73rd minute of play. Jarne Vrins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evert-Jan Wery in the 77th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Timothy Tielemans managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vaul-Chavanne's supporters rose to their feet, but Timothy Tielemans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcus Van den Plas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Vaul-Chavanne's Jarne Vrins got control of the ball when Jonas De Worteler tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonas De Worteler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jarne Vrins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evert-Jan Wery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarne Vrins having to interfere. Jonas De Worteler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Weegschede left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vaul-Chavanne.
